The Del Mar Fairgrounds in Del Mar is open for evacuees.
Strong, experienced volunteers are needed to provide care for the horses stabled at the Fairgrounds, however, volunteers are no longer needed to help with family evacuees.
Families and domestic pets in kennels may still evacuate to the Del Mar Fairgrounds. The Fairgrounds has no more space for large animals that need stables. Pets such as dogs, cats, and birds are welcome, but must be kept in kennels or cages.
