Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007SDG&E has announced that the number of homes without electric has been reduced from 28,000 to 21,000 homes. Also, please help out by reducing your energy use. If you need to use air conditioning to filter your breathing air that is ok, BUT they suggest running it at 78 degrees or higher to reduce the amount of energy needed to run it. Of those homes that are without service, many are homes that have been evacuated. SDG&E says that some of the lines that have been destroyed by fire or ash or cut down for fire lines will be repaired in the next week or so, although some areas may take longer to fix.
